The bird was young
And ready to take flight,
But she was afraid to take the dive
Therefore was unable to fly.
Then came forth a guide,
Providing her the wings to fly.
With care and love tender
He edged the bird and gave her strength to soar.
The bird enlightened flew,
She soared and roared like the lions.
But her guide? She remembered mid flight.
And turned behind to look for him.
A hand steered her once again ahead
And a voice came to her head.
“Don’t look behind, ever.
I am here. Or who’d guide you further?”
The bird took a sigh of relief
and went on with her flight.
Soaring and roaring
Like a lion.
