Your Shadow

I hold you pious,
Your vision divine.
Your smile my heaven,
My hell if you cry.
I handle you with care,
Least you crumble; fault be my.
Me parchment, canvas blank,
A plethora of enigma.

I kiss your Shadow on the ground,
My Creed your pursuit.
The path you walk, my destiny.
And if by some instance,
You say you love me too;
My heart still skips a beat,
And stumbles and falls.
